Alot of doctors/biologists hate maths, alot of physicists/mathematicans hate biology. I have observed this in alot of people,I don't know if it's a rule though, I just would like to confirm this belief by your own experiances with the matter.

Im a science student and i realyl cant afford to hate either. While biology might not be my favorite science its not too hard so i dont seem to mind it. As for Math i never really had a problem with it so i dont have a problem with that either. However if i had the choice to do niether and focus on my feild of study i would defintly take that oppurtunity.

i think there is a mind set that pervades from university onwards that there is a clear division between arts and science. Maybe what you have observed is a further division between life sciences and the more esoteric theoretical stuff like maths blessed be

To a certain extent I believe there is some truths in the your statement. Unfortunately, as all good scientists should know, one will need some solid maths fundamentals when you want to study biology at more advanced levels. So although biologist dont necessary like maths, they definately need it later on. Its a catch22 situation!
