I am so sad today

My neighbour and good friend found out last Aug that he had cancer. He was told that there was not a lot that could be done to help him only make him comfortable. He was giving 6 months at the most. Well he beat the odds but passed away last night. My husband and I were at a party but just could not get into it and ended up coming home early and as we got home the coroner was here and he was being taken away. This man will be so missed he was the first person to come up to us when we moved here and made us so welcome he would tease me all the time but in a good natured way. My youngest just loved him and even as a little one would go up to him for a hug. RIP George we will miss you.

Aww I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Anytime we lose someone, friend or family, it's takes a big piece of our hearts. Just rest assure he is in a better place and no longer suffering. Cancer is evil and he doesn't have to deal with it anymore. I will say a prayer for George and for you.

I'm very sorry to hear of your neighbor's passing. He sounds like one of the best neighbors you could of ever had! His memory will stay alive in your heart. Just remember he is not in pain any longer. Cancer is a dreadful disease. I pray there will one day be a cure. hugs!

Sorry to hear about your neighbor passing away. Several years ago I had a good neighbor that passed away. He is truly missed, he used to look out for our house whenever we went on vacation and would call the police if he saw something suspicious while we weren't home. God will help you through the loss you're dealing with but your neighbor has done something we all must do someday. Cancer is such a rude disease. What type of cancer did he have?
