There are a couple things I like about W2K. One is the way Ctrl + Alt + Del works; if something locks up the machine, you can still get to the task manager, and it doesn't take a millenium. The task manager always has first priority. I also like the fact that your advanced file security settings are accessible from normal mode, making it a breeze to toggle protection when you want to install/load/modify something that affects a folder(s) you like to keep locked. I don't like rebooting into Safe Mode every time I want to change something, so I got stuck having to pay $60 for Folder Guard Pro, to give me the functionality in XP. However, W2K doesn't have the same graphics support. Stretching a desktop background makes it grainy, the system tray doesn't display icons in full color, and video playback looks like you're watching in slow-mo.
