Hard to find Car motors

I have a 2.2 Ltr (not the junky 2.4) 4 cyl. w/ 5 speed stick. My pontiac sunfire was rear ended. But the damage isnt so that it cant be driven... but because the gas tank is now exposed...it shouldnt be driven. Its hard to get rid of this thing, eventhough the engine and tranny are excellent runners. Sould I put a rolling rear -end on it? The body says no...but the engine & tranny says YES! Any budy interested?
