Worried about spreading germs around the house

I'm constantly worried about spreading germs from one part of the house to another, so I try not to use the same mop and broom in the bathroom that I use in the kitchen. Do you do this too? Do you use a separate broom or mop to clean your bathroom area? Or, do you use the same cleaning supplies and equipment throughout the house. How do you deal with the germs?
