Would you survive?

If you were stranded on an island like the people from the CBS show Survivor, do you think you'd survive? How would you find enough food to stay alive? Would you know how to build a shelter to protect yourself from the elements? Or, fish from the ocean? How do you think prehistoric mankind did all these things?

I think that I could hold up for a little while but not as long as some of them do. It would be difficult to find good food to eat and would be difficult sleeping. There is just way too much going on and always have to worry about various things. It would be interesting for sure to see what I would do. I would try and make the most out of what is given me.

Actually, lack of food would not kill me. I'm used to not eating or not eating enough, it's a habit picked up from college and still survives today when I'm low on time..... I know how to fish so if I had the gear, I would just recall these days of fishing with my parents on family outings..... Shelter would be the problem. While I'm creative, I doubt I could make shelter that would be good enough to survive in for 39 days.....I probably would have to rebuild every few days... The rest of the elements, people, mental, weather, I think I could survive.....

I know that I absolutely WOULD NOT survive if I were stranded on an island alone. I would not be able to supply myself with food, I am not a hunter, nor am I a fisher. I believe I may be able to build some type of shelter and that is about it. I love the show survivor, it is my absolute favorite show to watch, but yet, I could never and would never even think about joining it. I know I could not live out there like the survivors do or how prhistoric mankind did...no way!

There's no way I would survive in an island. I'm a very picky eater to the point where I just won't eat if something doesn't look and smell good. The only thing I might be able to do is set up some sort of shelter, but I've no idea how I would feed myself. Maybe in an extreme situation like that, I would have no choice but to eat things I never, ever would. Prehistoric man just worked with what they had. Man has always been smart. They made boats out of tree trunk (cutting the middle) they made fire from sticks, made tools out of stone.. they were smart. And weren't accustomed to a 21st century life of course, so these things came naturally and was just the norm. I'm sure if I were born in those times, I would've survived just fine.

Yes I think that we all would SURVIVE. Its in our nature, LOL. I think that we would figure a way to live, eat, drink and build shelter. Caveman did it and we seem a little more smarter and advanced than them!
