My daughter's favorite word.

My three year old is going through a phase where her favorite word is "what". If I ask her what she wants for dinner, she says "what?". If I ask her how she is feeling, she says, "what?" It's driving me nuts! Before she went through a phase, where she said nothing, but "I lied!" I have no idea where she picked up that phrase. But, she was 15 months old at the time and didn't know how to carry on a conversation with my husband on the phone, so she kept repeating it over and over again. "I lied! I lied! I lied!" It sounds bad. But, it was precious to watch. I wish I'd thought to get that on camcorder, cause she is way more vocal than that now. She can argue a point to the ground. I guess this is just a phase too. This too shall pass. Just hopefully, not too soon. I can only imagine that in three years, I'll be missing this phase as much as I missed the last one. Does that sound corny?
