How many years do you think it will be before anyone beats Nadal in the French Open? Do you think he will surpass Bjorn Borg's record of 7?

I think nadal will reign the roland garros for a few more years. he's still young and tnere's a lot more room for improvement for him and more time to develop more solid techniques. he will continue to be the king of the french open so long as he remain passionate with tennis and will not stop training himself. nadal is very humble so i'll say what he always say, records doesn't matter that much, if he surpasses it and make a new great record, that would be nice. but the most important thing is that he gives all what he can give in a play, that played a good game. that's what I like about nadal. superb yet remains humble. ^__^

that's the downside of being a world champ. but I'm sure they find time to relax and be with their family and friends. although, if they love what they're doing, I think they wouldn't complain with their hectic schedule. ^__^

He is a humble champion. I like that too. I'm sure it is difficult to keep pushing oneself day after day to keep fit and ready to play the next match, never being at home. I don't envy their schedule at all. I played tournament around Nebraska for several years. But that was not near the kind of schedule they have to play. I could be home at nights and go back the next day.

I feel before the season Federer's year will be this year, but I'm wrong. Rafa is really a great player on this surface and a tremendous athlete. I think, Rafa can equal and even surpass Borg's record but I definitely think that Roger will take one French Open Grand Slam from him in the next three years. Watch out for this two to dominate the ATP this year.

I would agree that the two will dominate this year, and maybe for the next several years. They are so much stronger at this time than any others out there. But as usual, others will find ways to get stronger, the younger ones coming up will have their sights set on beating them. Someone sooner or later will find a way to beat them. But it may take a while.

He has beaten the best on clay, but he will have to prove himself on other surfaces to be considered the best overall. Time will tell if he can do it on other surfaces. He certainly has the talent, but for some reason, some people play better on a particular surface and cannot play as well on others. Clay is certainly Nadal's surface at this point.

I'm not sure how long it will take, I mean there are many things that can happen during a year. Nadal is very talented, and still young, so if things went as usual in the following years, he can easily beat Borg's record.

I agree. He certainly has enough years ahead of him to beat Borg's record. Hopefully he will not have any injuries so we can find out. It will be interesting to see if someone can figure out a way to beat him on clay.

It'll happen sooner or later. I'm not fimilar with nadal or even if he can continue but I doubt that he'll make the mark if he doesn't focus. It'll be interesting to see for sure :) ~joey
