Is my husband overprotective? / myLot

My daughter is already 8 years old going on to 9 years old and it's okay for me for her to go to parties unattended by an adult as long as I know where it is but my husband disagrees. He doesn't want her going by herself. He always thinks that something bad is going to happen because of all the people there and what's going on in the world today. I need an opinion because everytime she's invited to a party, my husband and I always argue about letting her go to these parties without having to have somebody with her at a supervised party and in the end, she ends up not going. Is my husband overprotective?

Your.spouse.is.more.than.overprotective.He.is.a.loser...Why.would.he.not. trust.the.parents.of.the.kid.having.the.party.to.supervise.your.child?..I. think.there.is.more.than.this.to.his.story...I'd.check.how.he.acts.around. her...This.is.not.normal.
