Virgin Suicide, this movie depict the moral context of chritianity. How 5 young girls find the conservative environment in heir house limiting and poisonous. I guess as a Filipino, we are all victims of this environment, where conservative parents forced us to conform to our old and confining culture that prevents us from venturing in our own self discovery.

good parenting I think doesnt prevent self discovery but allows you knowledge of acceptable behavior and morals. I dont see how this makes you a victum. It makes you a beloved member of your family who your parents are trying to guide in morality.
