Will mylot become the next wikipedia ?

I cannot see this site becoming something like Wiki due to this site does not get nearly as detailed as wiki does with topics. And there are a lot of people on here that just could never take the time to share all of the information on here that that site tends to share as well. What is nice, is both of these tend to be Great sites used by many. But then they are also different with different types of people who use each site, and one is for mostly facts, where this site is used a lot for personal thoughts and feelings.

No Way! You can't even compare them to each others. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia (and not a dictionary!), while MyLot is more like a forum. Even about the growing number of users, myLot users are like a dot when compared to the number of users using wikipedia.

I think this is a different place than a wikipedia website.Wiki is a encyclopedia and mylot is just like a forum and we share our ideas.Wiki is a more serious place and it's a place that we need accurate information.I think two of them do have different purpose.I was wondering why there was not anything in wikipedia.I think the web host of this website should post them online so that more people will know this website and let the community grow!

I think myLot has a lot of potential but they really need to work on the search function and ability to find things at the site. Another thing they need to do is weed out the stupid and moronic posts that people put up. That also goes for people posting the same topic to twenty different sections to spread their links for other sites / referrals for other sites.

I think MyLot will never become like Wikipedia. Also, if it did, a lot of money would be sent out, and it wouldn't be as fun because there would be millions of people here.
