Would you rather get a promotion or get a raise at work? The promotion is to assistent manager with no raise but insurance for free, the raise is for .50 an hour but you pay for your insurance. I already pay for the insurance but I think the raise would be the better deal. My hubby said that the possion would be better. What do you think? I pay $53 a week for insurance and do not have the added responcablity. Hugs

I would rather get the promotion aith the free insurance. Raises are often given out regardless of merit, while a promotion implies that your superiors recognize your worth to the company. That is likely to result in more raises down the line.

It works differently where I come from. So Id rather get a promotion as it means more pay from the time Im promoted. We have annual increments to ourt salary qanyway so it does not really make that much of a difference if our pay is incereased or not.
