If someone accidentally offended you without intending too and really only wanted their advice would you accept their apology and forgive them?

if I offend you or piss you off, tell me so. I'll explain where I was coming from and apologize. But please, don't expect me to sugarcoat to make people comfortable. That's not me. I will always attempt to show you respect, sometimes those attempts are more successful than others (and I will readily apologize when I fail to be respectful or come across as disrespectful).

Of course, I would. I'm generally not the sort of person that's good at holding grudges, so I were offended by someone and they apologized, I would very happy and whatever the offense would be forgotten. I remember when I was young and used to argue with my brother, an our or two later I would forget and go talk to him - and he would still be upset and yell at me to leave him alone. And then I'd think.."Oh yeah...we're mad at each other." Lol. Everyone makes mistakes, I see no reason why to not forgive someone who asks.
