do you have any summer vaction plans?

We are having our annual extended family vaction in two weeks. We just go away for the week end, but boy is it to go away. We just go to a cabin a couble of hours away and walk the trails and things like that. We try a differnt one each year. So what does every one have plained?

Oh this is a fun discussion..Well we are going on vacation June19th thru June 26th to Disney World in Florida for my daughters birthday (shes 4) I cannot wait because I have never been there so it should be really fun.
Then for the reast of the summer I just wanna have alot of BBQ's and invite some friends over to have fun..thats what its all about.

I can not wait till my kids are all old enough to go my youngest is two so we are going to wait about about 2 years and then we will start plaining. I hope youand your family have a lot of fun.

Yea alot of people said she wont remember us taking her there BUT we purchased a dvd recorder so we can always look back and remember what a good time we had.

My sister is getting married June 30th, so my 16 month old son and I will be driving home (1100 miles) for the wedding. We are leaving sometime early next week, probably Tuesday. We are staying until July 11th, and then on the way back here, we are stopping at the airport in Bismarck to pick up my sister in law. She is just staying for a long weekend. My husband is really excited, though. He's bummed that he can't get off work to go to the wedding, but he's really happy that he gets to see his sister.
He's also going to be moving all of our stuff while we are gone. If everything goes through with the house we are trying to buy, our closing date will be while I am gone. Otherwise he will be moving stuff from one house on base to another. So when we get home, my poor son is going to be confused, and probably think we are just staying with his other auntie. lol

We are planning a trip to Texas this summer to visit some of my husbands family.It will be my first visit to Texas.

My family and I will be driving to Iowa to celebrate my husband's grandmother's 80th birthday. We will spend a few days out there and since he grew up there, he is going to show our kids all the cool stuff he did as a kid. It's not the most exciting vacation, but it will be a lot of fun and time well spent with people we love.
