Installing Red Hat Linux is very easy.Linux comes in 3 installation disk pack and any cd's for installing drivers etc.I have installed Rad hat linux-8 before so I will tell you the process of it.You will have to insert the first installation disk into the cd drive and restart your computer. If your disk does not start booting up automatically they you will have to change the first boot device from the BIOS menu.If you do not know how to open the BIOS menu then you will have to restart your computer and press Del key from your keyboard continuously during start up.This will open the BIOS menu. Now find the option first boot device in the BIOS menu and change the first boot device to cd rom then save the settings you made and then restart your computer.Your installation disk will automatically read during start up and the installation of Linux will begin. In the first menu of setup just press enter and then your installation will be forwarded. Now your installation setup will start first of all you will have to partition your disk. You can select the automatic disk partition present in the installation menu then run the setup same as you run in windows xp or windows 98 then the installation will automatically start coping files on your computer. In between of setup you will be asked to insert second installation disk. You have to remove the first disk and insert the second disk and press ok.After the installation automatically copies file on your disk you will have to give all the more informations it asks then your installation will be completed. Now after you installation has been completed and you login to your account just insert the third installation disk and then press copy files and start coping one disk after the other. After you have copied all the disk your setup of Red hat Linux will be completed successfully.

Linux is not for you-- seriously. You should not embark on Linux unless you've done your homework and know exactly what you are getting into. Just my 2 cents.
