I am devasted with people who rated me as negative in my comment!

I have 9 stars and it goes down to 8 stars. i believe that my reputation decreases because i am being rate as negative in my comment. why are some people here are so mean? if i were to ask i enjoy responding to comments, posting discussions and replying to all mylotters discussions. Everybody who responds to my discussions i rated them positive, how about you? do you rate them negative? how would you feel making an effort responding to their discussions but in the end will mark you as negative? oh well, im very sad about it. i thougth we are all here to help, interact, learn, earn and make friends with other? if you cannot reply to their comment it woulld be better if you mark them as positive i think it one way of showing my appreaiation to all of you...

i also am facing this that my reputation was 9 and some body decreased my rating of 96 and now i have 78. i also comment on all the replies which i recieve on my discussion and i also rate all of them positive

And star never moved from a 9 ever since I got one!Oh yes I remember this one time I got an 8 because of this joke I made on britney spears! lol But I guess am happy with what I've gotten, because I say what I wanna say, regardless if they negative me or not. Well in my dicussions I just can't help rating + to everybody whos responded, I just don't know why. I've hardly ever rated anybody a -.
Its not hard to get a 10 as long as you don't disagree to what people have to say here.

Hon, don't take it personally. It is happened to me. I was a ten, then went to a nine, then went to a ten, and I am currently a nine. It isn't something to be devastated about. It doesn't mean you have a lot of negatives. This is just a fluctuating thing. You'll be back at a nine in no time. : )

They have done this to me also, you can't even give an honest opinion without some people dragging you down. I guess they have nothing else better to do.

I have rated commenters as negative, but only if their post was completely off topic, or was so full of spelling and grammatical errors that it was illegible.

really? so why just reply to their comment or give them warning? how sad... everybody here would like to have a good reputation... but i think if you mark them negative your reputation will also decrease? so figure it out just kidding. i just hope that no negative rate as possible.

Well don't be too upset of the rating yea , i was also 8 but increased to 9 recently yea ... prehaps you produce more quality content and people will start giving you positive rating yea .... for encouragment given you a + yea ^_^ take care enjoy in mylot yea

I do understand wher you are coming from, but I also think you are taking this rating syustem way too seriously. After all, what others think of you is irrelevant. Only how you perceive yourself is important in the end. Speak your mind, and if some folks don't like what you have said, let them go eat worms; it is their loss, not yours.

So you want everyone to like you? If someone does something wrong would you say it is all right? Mylot put a minus as well as a plus for a reason. If they wanted everyone to mark everything is okay, they would have just put a plus sign there. You do not have to mark everyone a plus. For instance if you were asking about the hair styles in 1940 California, and someone wrote, "You're a f---k--g ---" or made disparaging remarks about the Philippines, would you give them a plus? However some give minuses to people they disagree with, no matter how polite you are.

I agree with u. I recently was rated negative and my stars went from 9 to 8 just like u. I didn't take it personal but I didn't like it either. I got rated negatively just because I gave my personal opinion. And I wasn't being disrespectful either. Anyways, I'll give u a good rating! :)

Hi Jbelle; i think you have been irrelevant to one of your discussion! Well that would be great if every mylotters support each other... But thats not the case here dear! Well do not be too upset with that koz i was rated 8 and now i am nine... maybe tomorrow i can be rated back to eight. Thats part and parcel of mylot!!!

i really like to rate people on what they are talking about and if it interests me and i don't really like discussion when they are really really really off topic and i don't rate people on their grammer

I've been limiting my responses to just my friends lately because I feel my friends know me and what to expect out of me. I rated one person negative a few weeks back because they were unnecessarily rude to someone in one of my discussions. If I start a discussion, I appreciate everyone's response, don't always rate it, but definitely would rate negative if they bash me or my friends who respond positively. I don't even know what the stars mean, I just keep on mylotting, EVS!
