I live in Wuxi, China. At the end of May, we experienced something that never had happened before: the water from the tap stank. The water was not only smelly but also yellow. It's horrifying. People talked about the chemicals in the water that might cause cancers. We didn't know what to believe and who to trust. Finally it came to an end. As long as the blue algaes in Tai Lake don't go wrong and the factories around the lake don't pour poisonous liquid into the lake, everything will be all right. But the good thing is that some advanced equipment has been used and some chemical factories have been asked to shut down because of that. In fact, the blue algaes go wrong every summer and we don't know anything about it. We think if nothing had gone that wrong, probably nothing would have been done and one day very big problems would occur.so it's a good thing.

I am from Guangzhou, China. I learned the basic news about the polluted water for Wuxi from TV. What a pity! Wuxi is just a nice place and I like there. I have been there in 1997. I hope the water problem will be solved soon. A life without water is terrible.

Yeah. We can't live without water. Sometimes I just hope the local government can give us the results of the check and make us feel safe.
