I would tell her to do some pictures for free for a couple friends and do maybe like a wedding or something then make a website. I do a few websites for people and started to make a little extra money because of it because my friends told their friends and then their friend told their friends and so on. And making business cards and kinda just posting them about like at a laundry mat and what not. Best of luck to her!

The website is a good idea. Have you heard about squidoo? That is also a good place to start. You can find out more about it at: http://www.squidoo.com. My son is a very good artist, and I have been trying to get him to spotlight some of his work. We have been scanning his drawings for weeks to set them up on a website.
