General Discussion

Everytime we start a new discussion, we get to choose the category the discussion belongs to. But what is "General Discussion". I know what "general" means but wouldn't it like cause people to post every category into general discussion?

I am not sure why it's there, but I do know for those that post in that one, people that reply don't get stuck in that "Add to your interest" page. I mostly use the "General Discussion" to post in. Plus I can't figure out where in the world to place my topics most of the time, so many categories to choose from.

you are right. in "General Discussion" the "add to interest" prompt does not come up.
