Hello all myLotter I just thinking about this, after a week I stay beside my grandmother, she was dying since 4 weeks ago. I always try not to cry beside her, she is so weak. and my favorite thing to do with her just hold her hand and try to tell story. Every night I pray with her, so she can sleep well at night. I knew that she still hear me, but can't speak or see me. I just want to make her feel comfortable and not feel lonely. What would you do if you had that situation? Will you cry beside your loving person, or you will keep strong and give her/him support to stay fighting their illness? Do you will feel that you have to do something for help her/him? Share your story with me please? Thank you very much. God bless you

When I did this with my wife I just finally hoped she would pass in peace. Pain is no way to live and we cant prolong what is inevitable. God will take care.

I wouldn't cry beside them either if I could help it. It sounds like you are doing the right thing being there for her the best that you can.

if i am beside by loving person, who i know is dying, i would make every effort to save the person. whatever would be in my reach, i would definitely give it a try to revive a chance for the life of my beloved.
