need opinions on earrings on older men

my father in law wants to pierce his left ear.i don't think it's a gud idea for 55 years old..i mean..55??ear piercing?men?...sorry if i offend someone in here..i don't care w/others..just this is my father in law.. thanks!

LOL! I hear what you are saying here! Maybe he is going through a midlife crisis and trying to feel younger? I wouldn't let it bother you too much I am sure it is something he will out grow LOL!
