Is there something

Is there something that you just won't loan out to friends or family members? If a family member asked to borrow your car would you allow them to take it? Would you loan them your tools? Money? Is there something that you treasure so much that you just won't let that item leave your sight? If you do loan your stuff out do you place restrictions on it? Such as when the person needs to return the item back to you?

I have learned the hard way over the years about this. I half expect if I loan something out that I will never see it again. I try to avoid it whenver possible, and then hold my breath until it is returned. I won't let my kids loan out their electronic things, like their DS and games, because the other kids aren't very likely to replace it if something goes wrong.

I only loan things that I have a matching one to. That way i'm not upset if the person doesn't return it.

Hello, castleghost,i do not really have something that i will not loan out to my friends or family members,no matter it is money, cars or my other personal belongings. As long as they return to me on time or keep the things in good conditons,i am happy to lend to them next time. I may not lend to every friends though,if i know they will not return the stuff to me,i will not do it again.

You are a wonderful friend to have. I can understand not loaning to someone again if the didn't return your stuff the first time. Thanks.

My driver's license, hehe, just a joke. I think it must be something that has special meaning for me like a diary from my grandpa who is no longer with me.

LOL I like the joke. I do know a person who has loaned out their drivers license before.
