Spann's in Alabama

Okay was wondering if anyone here doing family research, have ever crossed the surname "Spann". Preferrebly the ones from Alabama. One of the many branches in my family tree are the "Spann's" from Alabama. I have a family history book on them, but it is missing information that I have been trying to fill in. Can anyone help me?

Your eally were taking a risk hoping to get a response to this one.
Sorry I can not be really of any help but have you tried contacting the Mormon church as many of them have completed their family trees and you can have free access to them through the church. I think statistically every family has a connection with a Mormon by blood somehow so it might be there.

Yeah I was taking a long shot with this one. But seeing how there are over 96,000 members on mylot, I was hoping someone might have some information. I have tried the mormon church but haven't had much luck in finding the missing information.
