Artists: Do You Draw Daily?

Do you try to find time to draw daily? I don't mean finish a drawing daily, but just the practice of drawing something daily. Do you feel like you need to bring this practice back into your life? What sort of obstacles are in your way when you try to find time to draw? Do you draw in the same sketchbook each time you do find time or do you work on larger pieces?

I usually doodle daily because there's nothing better to do. I usually just draw random objects, but when I do draw, I usually design outfits and fashion. From time to time, I do practice the areas of drawing that I need to improve on, such as drawing realistic portraits of people, drawing fur on animals' coats, or just drawing a human posing. But if I just draw, I usually draw people or just whatever's in my mind at the moment. Although I would prefer to keep my fashion design sketches separate from my usual drawings, I just keep it in one large sketchbook just to save paper. But I also have a smaller size sketchbook that is portable. I can take it anywhere so I can draw when I'm bored. I have some good sketches in there too. Sometimes I just draw just to reflect back on my past drawings and how I've improved or not, and what I still need to focus on.

I try to atleast draw something everyday, even if it's just a doodle. Lately I've been unable to, and it feels like I'm getting rustier for each day that passes. Something that hinders me from drawing is when the room I'm in is too cluttered, or I'm worried about things. It makes me absentminded, and I can't seem to concentrate on my art. When I draw for drawings sake I usually practice anatomy and other things in my sketchbook. I need to be in the right mindset to be able to work on bigger pieces.

Hello explorations! Yeah, I try to draw everyday and even when I forget to do it, I catch myself making random doodles, I think it's automatic now. Everytime I'm surfing the internet and find a cool picture I open my sketchbook and start drawing, to get practice and improve my drawings. I think it's very important to practice drawing everyday cause you start to see things different and it's very nice.
