Can you respect a makeup-wearing man?

if a guy wears make up, foundation, lipgloss, or whatever..
is that acceptable?

The only reason a man has to wear makeup is if he has to appear before a TV camera. However, that should be the only reason for him to wear makeup. Also if he cannot grow a beard and has a large scar. Those are the only two reasons and I am sure in the former example, he washes his face because he would look stupid.
