Environmentally friendly cat litter?

I'm concerned about polluting the environment with all this high tech clumping cat litter. I would love to use a more environmentally friendly cat litter. Could you please recommend an all natural cat litter, made with shredded bark, moss or other natural elements that you might find in nature?

Your best bet is to go to your local pet supply store and talk to someone there about that. Personally I preferthe clumping kind because it saves on money for us. If I could afford to spend money on the more expensive kinds I would but right now for us we have to get what is afordable and saves us money in the long run.
