I'm in the process of getting my youngest child back, she's 5... We go to court on Monday and I just served the last of the papers. I hope there are no surprises! This is going far too long.

Girl, I just sent you a message!!! I have a bad feeling about this. One minute my daughter says she wants to come with me, the next she says no; she wants to stay with my parents. I had my friend give him the papers and we were talking and he said a few things that irked me: 1. He questioned why am I getting her NOW instead of when I first came out??? I told him bcuz when I first got home I had a lot on my place; program, therapy, getting a job, looking for a daycare for her... 2. Said that if BF even looks at her wrong and she tells him, he'll come and whoop his azz! IGNORANT. I told him that although BF and I are not married, we do live together and technically he's her s-dad. No one is going to hit anyone, but if she needs to be disciplined, scolded he will do it. So I threw it back at him; and I said since you have all these stipulations how involved are YOU going to be. He said he works 2 jobs and doesn't have much time!!! WTF???? 3. He hinted he may recommend she stay w/my parents! He is like my mother - does NOT want to see me happy or succeed.

I am sorry to hear that you lost your child. It is wonderful news that you are getting her back. I hope it goes well in the court house.

Thanks. After talking to her father, I don't think things will go too well in court. He said he feels she should stay w/my parents. He doesn't like my bf (we've been together 2 1/2years). He's an azz!!! He's 48 and acts like a 15 year old.

I understand your feeling of not having your daughter... if i have the same situation... i will do everything to get her back... few weeks ago i have to do something and i can go back home as early as i want to... i cant even call home to check because i was so occupied with lots of this...i wanna go home to check my daughter but i cant..only the maid was with her... it breaking my heart thinking that my daughter was with the maid and knowing that she's looking for me... how much more that happens to me... maybe my hearts go shattered... Anyway...just hold on mare... She's young and she needs her moms love and care... Only mother can give the best care.... Keep us informed of what will happen...
