The roomie's nephew rescued a kitten, has to be no more than 4 weeks old. We tried her on milk, but the cat food was a BIG hit! She's a blue cream tortie with LONG fur. We'll start taking her to adoption days when she's a bit older.

Aww--poor little thing...you the kitten took to cat food right away...I was still feeding my babes strained meat baby food...the little one must have been real hungry!! Was she abandoned? well at least she's in good hands now

I had kind of understood that the kitten might've been younger than she was. I had picked up some KMR on the way out, but she wasn't interested much in the KMR. Canned cat food was the next that we had on hand.

When I was taking care of Sachiko who was only a few days old when I got her (long story how)--I rushed out like a lunatic to get the KMR---oh, yes, she drank it but it gave her the worse loose runs going---so I did up my own formula..just regular milk, egg yolk and vitamins--she was fine then...LOL

Awww, I'll bet she's so cute! I love babysitting them when they just start learning how to climb. Keeps me on my toes. Gotta watch my step, and where I sit down! :P

No, I don't work for a vet. I'm just a soft touch for cats. I've told the roomie "no more cats" and she's turned down 2 co-workers that have tried to palm more cats off on us, but this one isn't like those cases. This one would die without someone to take care of her, those people just need to get their priorities straighten out.

When I said milk, I meant KMR. My big cats like it anyway! We're going to try & get pix tomorrow after I take her around with me to my mom's & work then to the vet. At least I'm not going to have to worry about who's going to bottle feed the baby while I'm on my trip!
