Michael Jordan indeed is the greatest and i mean the GREATEST basketball player of all time. if he hadn't retired for two years, chicago could have achieved an unprecedented 8peat. that's how good mr. jordan is. no one really comes close to his talents. he emerged in the era of more than half of the greatest players in the world. and even they were enamored by jordans all-around court brilliance. he is like an import in the NBA (we filipinos call an american reinforcement imports here in the PBA). So, the big question is, who is his heir apparent? for me, it's a combination of: a) kobe bryant (his performance almost duplicates that of MJs, but he lacks the magic to help his team bring home the bacon) b) tracy mcgrady (same comment as kobe) c) steve nash (his talent will complement or stabilize the ones missing on the two mentioned) If you could find a player who has the combined talents of the players mentioned, then and only then, you've found MJs successor. Anyways, that's my opinion. what do you think?
