smoking???? / myLot

Hi, I guess there are many smokers in mylot.I want to know who all are trying to quit smoking since sometime.Are you able to quit it.I had been an active smoker since past 6 years and am trying to quit smoking since an year or something.....But unable to quit it fully........What do you guys say, it is hard to quit it just like that.....Had anyone really proved himself successful by quitting smoking fully in sometime???

I just saw a banner what offer 1 mounth free advices, support and encouraging to you if you want to quit smoking. I think that when you decide to do it, you need a lot of support from the people arround you. Good luck.

I am smoker for the past 40 years. I love smoking so I smoke. About 10 years back I had a bet with a friend of mine that i could not stop smoking. The bet was if i stopped smoking for one year he would pay me Rs.10000 and If i started smoking within the bet period I should give 20000. to make the story short I stopped smoking for one year and collected 10000. If one wants to stop they can provided they have will power.

well, that really depends on your will power.You can do anything if you have faith and trust on you.and sometimes, some aother factors may lead u to do somethings as it was those 10k bucks in your case :)
