why people get divorced?

I was in love with my ex.he wanted me to move and he wanted to move in a area that I would not feel confetable.Now I am remarried and happy with my kids.I can say this I am glad that I had no kids with him.With my ex.

Well I divorced my first husband because we simply didn't know each other when we got married. I was young & dumb and married the creep when I was 21 after only knowing him for 6-months. He turned out to be very abusive. I think not really knowing the person to begin with is the problem for many failed marriages. Too many are in such a hurry to be Mrs. So and So, that they don't really take the time to consider if they can really live with this person for ever and who are they to begin with.

I can tell you why i divorced after 30 years, we had nothing in common, the kids were grown and gone and we had grown apart.The thing he wanted in life were not the same things I wanted.Dont get me wrong I tried everything i could to make things work for us ,but there comes a time when you have to move on to make yourself happy.

I feel that they dont want to sort out their problem across the table and ego plays a very important part in divorce,ofcourse parents encourage their wards instead of asking them to sort out their promlems,if any.

I believe the reason my first wife and I got a divorce is because we married to young and for the wrong reason. We were just out of high school and she was pregnant so we got married. We tried to make it work but I wasn't what she wanted so she had an affair. Again I tried to forgive her and continue to make it work but it didn't so we got a divorce. Sometimes people shouldn't get married in the first place while at other times the couple grow apart. There are a number of reasons why people get a divorce. Sometimes they can't even tell you what went wrong in the relationship.
