Are you a bookish person or not?

Seldom do I buy books now. But it was not so a few ywars back. Then I used to buy a lot of books and read them all. Now I don't read much that is why I don't buy them. Now all my reading is from the internet. But I have a good collection of books with me. Most of them purchased by me. Thank you.

Oh my gosh, I feel like I could have written this discussion. We are so alike in this area. I buy books and I love it!!

I love to read. I am very into it. Sometimes, I will read and read and never stop. Other times, the book sits there, and I just cannot apply myself to read. Maybe you want to read, but just don't make the time to sit down and do it. Or, perhaps you have not found a great book that will not let you put it down after you read the first page. Try James Patterson. He is very talented, and his books are tops. Also, you may have a hidden talent that you have not discovered yet. Like writing or art. That is why you like book because of the paper.

I do like reading books but like you, I'd rather do something else like watch TV, surf the net or even just sleep. All the books I have read were started on long boring trips to the provinces while I'm away from my computer and cable TV. If you like to be able to read your books.., pick one and head to the most boring place you could think and read it there. Cheers! Happy Posting :)

I am an avid reader. Some would say I am a book worm. Like you I love books, I go to the library once a week, they have a section that they use to sell books that people have donated to the library. Thier prices are very nice, .25 cents for paperbacks and 1.00 for hardbacks. So that is were I get most of my books. I read about 4 books a month, so I would say yes I do finish all the books I buy. I am the same way. I have quite a few books on my shelf and there are quite a few I have not read yet. I am all the time reading a book though. I read at night before I go to sleep.

Yup, I would say I'm quite a bookish person. usually, I'd rather be curled up with a book than watching TV. Too many adverts these days breaking up good programmes. I like the feel and smell of new books. But cos buying them might be costly and I'm not sure I want to keep every book I read, the national library is my option. Singapore has really beautiful comfortable state-of-the-art national libraries so I tend to get my fix of books from the library. love the new books that they get regularly!

Hi, I too love books. I love to buy and read them. I like mostly horrible stories, suspence storis, love stories etc., But when I buy any novels, I cant get up without completing them. If yesterday, I read 30 pages, then I will try to read more than 30 on the next day. And let the book to complete. If I find any books with my friends, then I took from them and read the book and again give it to them.
