It is embarrassing that when it remains only 2 cents to reach my first payout level on myLot(or any other programme or that matter, the latest alert message from myLot advised those of us using e-gold to switch to moneybooker. This was in sincere reaction to the legal problem e-gold is currently facing. However, I live in a country where neither Paypal nor moneybooker is available as a means of payment. What do I(we) do, please?

Hi there gbolly54!! I believe moneybookers caters for all international transactions for as long as the bank which you are enrolled into has an international SWIFT code. Maybe you may try to look into your bank's website and ask if they have a SWIFT code because if there is, I think moneybookers would be an OK choice still.. I really wish you well, though I am not 100% certain about what I have said.. B-)

Thank you as well. Your advice is well appreciated. However, please, refer to my comment on Avelnrm's response above. I maintain that residents of Nigeria are barred from registering with Moneybookers. Ditto with PayPal. They know better why. It is unfortunate, though.

i opened the moneybookers website and i see that your country is in the list. i think moneybookers is available international. have you tried making a moneybookers account? if you are worried about the currency, just use U.S. dollars. i hope this helps.

Thanks for your quick response and genuine advice. I have tried several times to open a Moneybookers account without success owing to my residential location on the globe. Each attempt is always met with an apology, thus:"Due to legal restrictions, we cannot accept registrations from residents of Nigeria. Please, accept our apologies for this inconvenience!" I tried to register again after receiving your response, and I got the same apology message. Thanks, anyway. I hope myLot will not allow my money to lapse.
