Are you into Videoke singing?

Videoke is very Asian, or very Filipino for that matter. Every Filipino loves and knows how to sing, and it's a common scenario during parties that one has a hard time passing the microphone to another guest because there's too many songs he/she wants in the list!:P I've been so into it since it was first introduced here in the country. First it was the minus one and Karaoke I'm addicted to, now it's this one. I hope I can save enough to buy a Magic Sing for myself. It's quite tiring having to change discs every now and then in the VCD/DVD player. Magic Sing is a microphone that contains chips inside carrying thousands of international songs. Are you into videoke singing too? Do you love to sing your heart out till you get a sore throat? Or it it just me? Do share please. ;)

lol Well steney I LOVE to sing - unfortunately the only person who can bear to listen to me is my 5 yhear old daughter! I am afraid that I am out of tune and flat and my pitch is all over the place! lol I am glad you enjoy it and I hope you get your MagicSing soon! That sounds like a fantastic piece of gadgetry and I am sure you will have great fun with it! xxx

I do! But not that avid.. just occasionally. I love singing but I'm a frustrated singer.. Well I'm not alone, my best friend too. Both of us are frustrated signers and we just sing with all our hearts out. Its as if we own the room. And we're unwanted divas where no one wants to listen us sing. LOL! poor us but its a good way to feel good though, esp. when we're feeling depressed or so, we burst out our feelings through singing. :D

Yes. Our family has this karaoke that has over 10,000 songs on it. We got it from Manila. Dad really is amazed with this karaoke. He often times sing at night after work of when there is a party at home. I do love karaoke myself with my family. It has always been one of our bonding times.

As far as I know, it was a filipino who invented videoke..
I love singing, mostly within just my circle of friends, in videoke booths/rooms along malls, on videoke bars while having a drink and on some special ocassions!;)
I remember a time when my cousin christened their first born son, we had videoke all day long and never got the feel of being drunk because of the enjoyment we all had!;)

I really love singing karaoke. In fact I just got home from karaoke not too long ago. I went out singing last night and again tonight. I usually go out to karaoke at least a couple of times each week with my friends. We all get together and have a good time.

We never let pass the opportunity on every occasion we spend without renting "VIDEOKE".We all crave for the mic to be pass on us. There are certain guest that we Filipino's call them "MAKAPAL" for they don't want to share the mic or even pick a thousand songs for them to sing as if they are having concert.What can i do for i am the host so i cannot reprehend.I was also planning to buy a magic sing, there's another product i set my eyes on when i was at the mall I think it was more attractive.You're not the only person in the world that loves to sing. I also feel the same : )

Don't we all love to sing! :D Be it in the shower, while doing chores, while depressed, while we're happy, or with the mighty microphone. I think every individual has he innate ability to sing, it's just a matter of how one nurtures or develops this gift. Thanks for responding! :)

I am so into videoke singing and I love singing from morning 'til afternoon. My cousin has a magic sing that we often use. I also plan to buy myself one so that I don't have to borrow. Though I have lots and lots of CD's/DVD's for such purpose but like you, I have developed a proclivity to Magic sing too.

I do know about karaoke and I'm quite fond of it but I didn't know about videoke nor magic sing yet. Instead of singing in the bathroom, I also like to sing with karaoke once in a while (when nobody's around though....hehehe). Just loud enough for myself to hear as it will poluted the air where I live...hehehe.

Hello,steney,occasionally i will go to karaoke with my friends,they are all asians,may be they really like to have videoke singing,I like to go to karaoke, i think it is fun.I also like to sing,i like the feeling when other people are listening to my songs.
I will take care of my voice though,i will not sing till i get a sore throat.

Oh well, steney. I'm into it!! I love singing. I love going to parties with videoke. I sometimes eat in a restaurant with videoke. I will never get tired of singing. HOw about a singing session? the two of us? would that be alright for you?

I think singing is in the blood of most filipinos and the videoke machine is very popular with the general population, they sing eventhough they know their voices are not exactly American Idol material "NEXT!" any ways its a popular past time with us right. I miss playing in a band so much sometimes that on the weekends I search for nice places to sing my heart out. That's the only enjoyment I get now a days. I kinda sometimes forget the songs that I used to sing "Not the lyrics the names and what they sounded like" any ways if I had time and my friends were around me I would sing all the time at the videoke bar and forget my problems for the week :)

Wow, you played in a band? What instrument did you play? I had this dream of singing with a band, nice loud microphone and all. It's really hard when you got used to something like singing, that you miss it too much when you don't have the time. Yeah, it's a great stress buster. :)
