I am a first time mom and I don't know what to do woth my baby to help her developmental stages. She is now 6 months about to be 7 month old. What kind of toys should I get her and what kind of educational things would be good for her at this age?

For starters she needs have a lot of floor time. If she sits up then have her sitting with some blocks, shapes, plastic toy keys, teething toys, musical toys. If she don't sit up yet then plenty of tummy time so she strengthens her neck muscles and learns to roll on back and back to tummy. Which she should be doing rolling at this age. There are various stuffed toys out there that play the ABC's, nursery rhymes, and numbers. Anything with lights and music. Check out the baby section at Wal-Mart, Target, or K-Mart if you have any of those where you live. They always have age appropriate toys. My 9 mth old was pulling himself up to stand, sitting up alone, crawling, & rolling both directions at 6 mths old. He is now walking 4 steps before he falls on his butt. Good Luck! Babies are so precious at the learning stages!

well how about a box with blocks inside? with different shapes and colors! i have one and my daughters loved playing with it. first to put it in their mouth, and then just look at the different shapes and colors, and after that they tried to put them in the box the rigt way! my youngest one loves throwing the blocks when she wants attention from me! don't buy to much, just give your kid one or two pieces! it is too much for them if they have a lot of toys around them.
