My son calls a bottle,"Bobbie", a light is a "wow", a light switch is a "button", Pool is a "bath", and a dirty diaper is an "EWWW". Do your kids have different names for ordinary objects?

That's cute. My son does that sometimes, too. He calls all black dogs "Boppies" for black puppies. Any other color dog is a "woodie" for our dog, Trixie Woodle. It's funny since she should technically be a boppie, too, since she is a small black dog. All cats are "Rinnie" for our cat Trinitie, too. He calls his cups "Moo dings" which I think means moo drinks, because he usually has milk, but they are still moo dings even if it is water or juice. He also mispronounces several things, but is trying to say them right. For instance his favorite meal right now is "chiggy and wy" or chicken and rice. He also loves to eat "piggies" which are really pickles. lol That one is funny when someone doesn't know what he is talking about. A waitress asked him what he wanted to eat and he said "Piggies and woga, pease" she was so confused. We told him right away that he wouldn't be getting pickles and yogurt, but he could have chicken instead, so she didn't have to try to figure it out. The look on her face was priceless, though, when he asked for that.

How old is your child? It is common for children to call things by different names, usually when they cannot pronounce the true name, then some things just stick.

I love the names he comes up with. It's fun to see my mom and dad try to figure out what he means.
