To all pC user what is the best operating system?

I have worked on all versions of Windows and i love win 98

If you already have XP, stay with it, DO NOT upgrade to Vista. I made the upgrade to Vista about two months ago and I completely hate it. In my opinion its way too difficult to figure out, way too complex.

I would prefer you Windows Xp-Professional version because It is great operating system for proffesional and home use.But if you are in search of a operating system for playing games then my recomandation is Windows-98 because Installation of game in windows Xp often slows down the operating system and windows 98 s professionally designed for also playing games.As now the official pack of windows Vista released you can even try that as till not I have not buyed it I cant say wheather Windows Vista is more good,advanced and fast and also available for gaming but according to one of my friends which has buyed it says Windows Vista is the best and most advanced operating system he have ever used.As you would be knowing that Windows-95 was the first graphical operating system which came to market which included graphical game play.Microsoft where able to sell more than 150 million copies of it and after then they released Windows-98 which is used on most of the computers in the world currently.As now Microsoft Windows Xp has not sold enough copies due to a little bit high cost but a great software for pc.

For me it is XP.My dad said that vista is better than XP but i dont really know vista yet because i don't use it as for now.

I would say XP. Vista is new and I'm not sure it has everything work out in it yet.

for me its Windows Xp professional (the 64 bit version) since most of the games now like Half Life 2, Farcry, Doom3, Quake4 (wow! i have all that game installed on my rig right now) does'nt support windows 98 anymore
