A boy who had Down Syndrome was riding his tricycle on the road around 9 pm this little boy was dragged 200 feet the father was nearby and picked him up and took him to their house and called 911. The police are looking for anyones help. Now I need to know how can someone hit a child and keep on going I know they heard the screams or something. Do people not understand that if they run they will be in more trouble then they would have been? What goes through peoples mind? Was the person drinking,on drugs, have no license I mean what can make you leave a person dying or hurt on the road.

First of all, the driver who hits some body, never does it intentionally. He might have erred or the person affected might have done wrong. However, two elements make him to escape the scene. First if mob gathered and tried to take the avenge, first hand summary trial by local people, this is always dangerous and second reason , not to fall in the law net,in both the cases, whether the person has a license or not, he will try to fled the scene. Fewer driver under the influence of moral obligations, stop and try to carry the injured person to nearby hospital. And this is the right way to help the victim
