Do we really think from heart?

We all know that all thoughts which comes are from mind, stored in our mind, heart is just a pumping tissue and has no relation with one's thinking/thoughts, though we still say, ask your heart,we think from heart, it sounds quite weird if you take it practically, isnt? coz we always think from mind, watever, even if its love we think from mind only, then why we say, we love from heart? lol
I might sound like a confused guy, but thats what came in my mind right now........share your thoughts over it

I know what you mean. I guess it is a carry over from the time when we thought differently, so the heart remains as the supposed centre of emotion while the brain or mind is the centre of thought and logic.
Although it's not anatomically correct as long as everyone knows what is means I don't see it as a problem.
