what should i do in my first day of college life?

during my senior year in high school, i was so afraid to step on to the college life. i kinda dont like the part that i have to start from scratch.i dont like to leave my high school friends and start an unpredictable life.
i think college life is all about seriousness and high school is more on having fun.
i really dont know what to do on my first day of classes and im not yet prepared.so far, i still have less than a month to get ready for it because my classes will start on july.
anyways,any advice on what i should do and shouldnt do on my first day of classes so that i could acquire a good impression and new friends.

If I were you, I will try to be friendly to people who I feel comfortable to be with. You can start with your own classmates. Get to know them slowly and pick the person whom you find the most comfortable to be with. In time you'll discover that your friend has a friend who has a friend who has a friend.... and the list will go on and on. Without you realizing it, you will have many friends at the end of the day.
