So I finally caved and bought the kitchenaid stand mixer last night. I really want to us it tonight but nothing exciting is popping into my head to make. What are your favorite recipes (that aren't crazy hard). What do you make the most with your mixer?

I just got one last weekend, and have only had time to make two things: cream puff pastries, and carrot & raisin muffins. The cream puffs turned out okay (next time I'll make them with a whipped cream filling instead of a creamy custard filling). And the muffins were easy to make and yummy! It's so much faster to make stuff with the mixer - I love my new toy! Did your mixer come with a little recipe book? Mine did, and it has some good looking recipes in it (everything from bread to dessert to appetizers). Enjoy baking!

I love my kitchenaid mixer, and I love it even more because I won it at work. I love it to make my mashed potatoes, cakes, cookie mixes, icings, puddings! You name it, if it has to be mixed, I throw it in there! It is so much easier than the hand mixer that I used to have, and my son is able to use it, too.

I just got a mixer for Mother's Day and I just love it! I have made a lot of cakes and desserts with it. The whisk attachment is perfect for making meringue or angel food cake! I also got the ice cream maker attachment and have made homemade ice cream a couple of times. YUM! But the ice cream does take some planning. One of my favorite recipes is Pineapple Upside Down Cake. It is pretty easy and so good! Have fun with your mixer!
