Does Caffiene or Sugar make you jittery?

I usually don't drink soda unless it is offered to me. I don't buy it at the store or at restaurants to save money and because it isn't so good for me. However, at my office we have a soda fountain so the drinks are free and I end up drinking a cup a day it seems. I notice when I drink it I get a headache and sometimes jittery. It is probably because my body is not used to the caffiene or the sugar. Does this happen to others, or does something else happen?

That's funny - I can't live without caffiene, drink Diet Pepsi daily, and I get headaches if I don't have at least some every day. You could be right, it's just what your body is used to.

For me, it is definitely coffee. If I drink coffee that is too strong I get very jittery and sick to my stomach. When I was in college taking a typing class, I had a cup of coffee, just before going in. My hands were so shaky that I could not keep them steady on the typewriter. This has happened to me at least three times, but I don't let it happen anymore. Soda does not bother me. But, I still try not to drink it very much because it is certainly not good for me. One of the things that I really enjoy is a nice hot cup of Lipton tea before going to bed. Although, I have a box of 100 bags, I hardly ever drink it. One day I found myself craving the caffiene so back that I was running around like an addict trying to find some tea. You know what the craziest part about that day is? I just realized while I was writing this, that it was the caffiene that I was craving. Boy, did I get ugly. No decaffinated tea would do. I tried to drink my green tea, but that did not work.

well lets see I like all three of them. I like milk because of the calcium and I like it with my creal and I eat a lot of cereal so there for I drink a lot of milk. But out of coke and pepsi I really like both of them and to me it dosnt matter what I have cause they both taste good and taste the same to me.

caffiene never really makes me jittery when I drink a lot of it I do have some family members that when they drink a lot of caffine they act all jittery and you can really tell cause they talk a lot and they fib a lot. The only thing that caffine does for me is give me more energy which is why I drink drinks with caffine at work a lot.

I've never noticed it from either caffeine or sugar but I know several people who need to watch their intake for this reason. I don't drink soda but it's because I get very bad heartburn from it and I don't like it enough to suffer that.
