Yesterday my glasses broke. I can't read without them. They were my only pair. Yesterday I got my walmart gift card from netwinner. Do you know what i used it for/? You got it, a new pair of glasses. So today I can read and answer discussions again. My positive thinking paid off again :)Have you ever had anything bad happen only to have something good happen to replace the bad?? Even something small like say you dropped your wallet and it got all dirty in the mud. lol. But none of your credit cards or money got dirty and your next door neighbor came over and told you they had an extra wallet they would give you. Turns out the wallet they gave you was in better shape than yours. If you look around and look at the good things in life that happen instead of dwelling on the bad. You will see that it all evens out. Bad ends up equaling good in the end. You just have to find the good. Tell me your story about the good thing that came out of something bad.

Oh sweet snow - \i am so pleased you can see again! You know what my experience of this involves my eldest child! I had a really bad marriage but I woulodn't change ot for the world or I wouldn't have my oldest baby! How is that for positive thinking? xxx

Good eyesight plays an important role in your mobility and the enjoyment of life. Iam sure it would be terrible to go without a glass considering ur situation. Well Good and Bad things happens in your life. So Take life as it comes.

Well we cannot control the rule of nature.. You never know when BAD things will strike.. No matter how alert you are.. BEcause of unfortunate things we become more polished as a person.. We should let bad things come into our life.. it challenge you as a peron ....

The car we were about to rent for a weekend came back to the rental place damaged and undrivable, so instead of ruining our weekend they rented us a huge pickup truck for the same price as the small sedan.That was bad and turned out good.
I went literally blind for a month once and still need another surgery to correct it,your title reminded me of it.

I am glad that you can see since you have your glasses on. As for me not too long ago someone had a big wreck and it blew my TV up (almost got on fire) I was going crazy without my TV so I keep looking around the house for money as I have a Mad Money just in case I might need it so I found the money and counted it well sure enough I had enough money to buy me a new TV and my hubby just looked at me and ask "Honey where did all that money came from?" I told him I was saving it for something in case of emergncy and this is it now lets go and get me a brand new TV oh he laughed and thought I was crazy so we went to Walmart and I got me a Brand new TV. Now I am happy because I got me a new TV and now I am saving the money up again.

But i wish you have a good time in your life.
Like you say,when you meet the bad things,wish have something good happen to replace the bad.
In my life,i don't remember any bad things,if some bad things happen,i will choose to forget it immediately.In my mind,i wish only have nice remember.

I'm glad you got new glasses, but i wish you could have used the gift card for something special for yourself!
If your satisfied with how it turned out, that's great!
Hitting a tree while i was drunk, was something that changed me for the better, so i say!

Wow-- that's great- and I love your outlook on life- I often times think this way- Sure there is always bad things happening to us- but the good so much outweighs the bad- My case- is this- I might be having a hard day at work- thinking to myself- man why me- then I think about my cousin who just had a baby with alot of problems- and my problems seem so small... I'm glad you got a new pair of glasses- I'm shocked that you got them so quick- usually takes me at least 1 week-

Hey we finally found something we're different on - I'm not blind without my glasses, actually seldome wear them and even have contacts that I haven't worn in several years. My eye sight is bad but not so bad I can't live without...
However, I am growned without my glasses - yep, just bad enough that legally I can't drive without my glasses and have always worn them for that purpose (my glasses stay in the van at all times). Because I've gotten so used to driving with the glasses I can't even back down the driveway without them.
Ok on topic - I think nearly every bad thing that has happened in my life there has been something good come out of it but then that is my goal in life - to see the good in every situation.

I glad to see that you got new glasses. I kind of thought I noticed you missing yesterday. I guess for every bad thing that happens theres some good things happening to match it. I think it takes a special person to always be able to see it though. Most people seem to spend to much time dwelling on the bad and not seeing the good in things. I try to see the good, but at times its hard to find. Take care, Terry

I am happy to hear that you got some new glasses and that you can now see. I have always been a believer in positive thinking because in many of my situations it couldn't really get much worse lol. A good thing that came out of something bad for me hmmmmm lemme think. One time I was at a yard sale and I saw a beautiful set of glasses (4) the hubby laughed and said we already have a ton so I don't know why your bothering but they were only 1 dollar so no biggie. The next morning I turned on the dish washer and heard a loud smashing noise. 2 glasses had broken so it was a good thing I had gotten extra. Especially because my parents and brother were coming for a visit and we needed the extra glasses.

hi mssnow...hey i know what it feels like to be without glasses when u cant see without them...and thats not because i have this problem but because my sister has and she cannot see without them...i used to pull of pranks at her while she used to remove her contacts and i use to hide her glasses and she use to be so mad but it was fun...now she is married and i miss such silly things between us so much...yes it has happened to me a lot of times that things even out and i believe its more than coincidence its positive thinking...if u really believe u gonna get back something u will get it no matter what...hey to tell you something...watch the opposite episode of seinfeld...in that same thing happens to him its really funny...everything evens out for him...just telling you cuz i'm a big fan of the show....take care...see ya..

God is given to us very imp things.We must take carefor all those things.Ears,hands legs,eyes,tung etc .But unfortunatly I do one mistake,I kept my glasses on the table, and my grand son saw that she took her and she fall down ,my glasses broken and also became blind for two three days.
