Will akon continue to rule the rapping world?

Akon rocked the world as it entered into the rapping world as a new raper and won oscars and became many's favourite.
But the question is will it still be the best in the rapping world? Because of no more songs of akon appearing it somewhat got closed and people thought it came to an end.So please discuss

Akon never has and never will rule the rap world. He is a pretty good artist, but he doesn't have what it takes to be on top. Eminem has never been the king of rap and can't be now with his career more focused on other projects.

well akon was really good as a rapper and i liked him a lot but i really thought eminem was the king of rap cause he was famous for mostly his rap

Akon is a flash in the pan. In a year, he will go the way of Criss cross, Vanilla ice, Ton loc, and other one hit wonders before him. He does not have the staying power or talent of the true greats.

I think he will be. His first song lonely was a big hit. Then he got chance to rap with eminem which was the greatest song of al time. Then he just went with snoop dog. I think he is the next big thing.
