Last night we curled up and watch movies as a family. We had two of the cutest movies that were animated and we loved it. I am actually looking forward to this morning when we can watch Happy Feet. I think that the movies have come so far with animation. I just love it though when we can sit down and I don't have to worry what will be said in the movie with chidren around. Do you like to watch movies with your kids?

My daughter & i watch movies all the time - although she didn't take much interest in Happy Feet, it might be a little old for her yet. Although there was 1 part that made her cry - i guess it might have been a little to scary for a 1 yr old but she liked the singing & dancing so that was all good! We usually watch movies every day - she never sits still for the entire movie though, at 1 they like to be playing & running around! Today we watched Ice Age & she adores the character in that, she also likes Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, Robots & Over the Hedge!

Oh, if you wanna go with a non-animated one that even keeps my 1 year old amused & giggling - try The Grinch with Jim Carrey - it's the BEST!

I don't have kids of my own yet and I'm wishing to have soon.... But I'm fascinated with animated movies as well as my husband. I'd rather watch them than watching those drama movies that will only let you cry at the end and will left some burden in your heart when you got out of theater.

Well, even if it is anime or cartoons or any kind of movies, once my child wants to watch it, I will bw at their side. Movies have effects on my kids that is why I cant just trust them watching what they want. I want to know the movies they are watching and if I find it not suitable for them, I will stop them.

Yes, I like that. We can have a closer relationship as long as we are willing to spend time with each other. Actually sometimes I will buy some cartoons or animated movies so that I can share them with my son. I am a big child anyway:)

My child is only 2 years old but she's starting to appreciate animated movies. We just finished watching Dogs and Cats and now she wants Wallace and Gromit. She's watching it over and over again. But it's a good sign as she's starting to explore and learn things...=)

yes, definently. We have blockbuster total acess, so we get tons of movies every week. we actually just rented 3 yesterday, and will return them tommorrow, to get three more.. We run out of movies to rent though. Of course, we only really get to watch them on the weekends, as hubby has to wake up early so we don't watch many on the weekdays. I really enjoyed shreck (all three), open season, barnyard etc. they were very well done and humorous. It's surprising if you compare them to the movies we had growing up, things sure have changed!

We love to watch movies with our kids. I've also started getting them some of the older kids movies on dvd that they bring out of the vault every so often. They are coming out with a lot of cute kids movies.

I love to watch movies with my son. A lot of the newer movies out there are actually geared for the whole family. After watching ~Barnyard~ and the movie ~Open Season~ I thought I would bust a gutt laughing throughout both of them. I think I enjoyed those movies as much as my son did lol! But I think it is great that the movies now try to include the whole family. I want to know what my son is watching and seeing and intellectually injesting. It's good to keep informed of these things.

I love watching movies with my children. I think it is the best thing on a rainy day. You can get a blanket and you and your children can snuggle under it and watch a great movie. I have done it and it is so fun and relaxing.

I love watching movies with my children. It is one of the few times that they will sit curled up with me. We have watched Happy Feet too. My daughter loves when the penguin dances.
