plz help installing windows vista over window XP...can i upgrede or wud i have to install or another partition ...plz help i m really stuck

Do you have a Microsoft Vista disc, or a proprietary disc that came bundled with your machine? I'm assuming you have the former, in which case I believe you should be able to upgrade. However, there's no guarantee that your existing applications would all work; in fact, it's quite unlikely.
