Until my husband comes home from Saudi. :( It seems like forever. I wish he was home, nothing is the same without him. My question is, if you have a long time and are waiting for it to pass, what do you do to help pass the time?

Hello,4cuteboys,165 days will be passed quickly,as you need to take care of your four cute boys, basically i think you must be very busy everyday,if i have a long time and wait for it to pass,i will try to make myself really busy and in doing this, you will not feel time has passed quickly.165 days will be like a flash. Hope you will see your husband soon. Take care.

Thanks Easy888. I hope that it goes by like a flash! :) I do need to make myself busy. These are the times I wish I had a full time job so that I would have lots of work and it would pass the time quicker.

Concentrate on your kids and have a great summer- You have alot to do and get ready for- and he is missing a very big part-- but it's ok. Take lots of pictures for dad-- Are you at your parents yet? or still at your place? when are you moving?

Hey sweets :) We got to my parents house yesterday! It's been ok, but I have found since the house isn't set up for kids, I am running around trying to keep them out of stuff. But we did sprinkler, bikes and some other outdoor stuff and then had a BBQ. So that helped. I should have brought out the camera, darn!

In the past I've developed a new hobby or volunteered for a charity. That took the issue of a long wait and made it manageable. Although with you and your kids, I think those kids keep your hands full already. : )

I hate waiting. So I distract myself with being busy, with getting really involved in something that keeps me too busy to think about what I'm waiting for. It only works until I'm lying in bed and trying to go to sleep. There is nothing to distract me and I'm back to impatience. So, when I'm going to sleep I think about what it will be like when the event I'm waiting for occurs. I can only imagine how difficult it is for service wives and families to be separated by war. You are all heroes in my book!

4cuteboys, I know that your husband being gone is difficult for you and I sympathize.... You have lots to keep you busy with 4 little boys to take care of while Daddy is gone...and with another one on the way...I imagine that time rund fast for you..... I do understand that things are not the same with him gone to Saudi....I know that you miss his presense, his smell, his feel.....his smile... I do not like to wish time away BUT in this case, I completely understand....I know that he is as anxious to be home as you are to have him hiome....I pray that time passes quickly for you until you are reunited with your beloved husband, my friend... Sorry if this post did not offer any way to make this actually happen....but my heart is in the right place..LOL

Father's day must have been really hard for you? All I can suggest is that you spend lots o time with your boys to help pass the time.
