What is the best thing that you do when you are in tension. It is really important to keep your cool during work, and your if your work place is a tension prone area then what do you do?

First thing I pray Shirdi ke Sai Baba to help me keep myself cool. Then I take couple of deep breath. Then I try to look at cool things like green plant or tree, a child on the road or a calender on the wall which has a scenary or a friend nearby. If time permits, go to bath room, slash some water on my face and neck, drink some water and come back. I think by then half of my tension is cooled down. By then my mind will work normally. I will try to rectify the situation and the other half of tension will vanish automatically. Is it a long story?

Most of the time we are not aware that we are under stress. Once you start being aware of your own feelings, the tension automatically reduces. There are a few things that help me once I am aware that I am tense.* Sit or stand quietly and take a few deep breaths. * Drink a glass of water. * Close my eyes and think and visualise something/someone pleasant. * Think of a funny experience in my life. This definitely brings a smile on my face and the tension is gone.
