I need some advice on how to get rid of the giant ant-hill in the middle of my front lawn! They're black ants, not sure exactly what species, but they've dug a huge ant-hill in my lawn and it's ugly! Anyone have any natural remedies that are tried and true?

We tried different stuff but we found the powder best and it's called "seven" the powder works the same way it's on the ants and they take it to their home and it kills the ants. Worked good for us but you have to do it a few times if you have lots of ants like we did.

go to your local gardening place or home depot ...they have a liquid ant bait ...put a few drops near the hill it wont harm pets the ants suck it up and take it into the nest...do this several days and they will all die...make sure to get the liquid, I found the powder didnt work... ToriaT

I have tried several remidies and the best one i found is to pour hot water atleast a gallon or two of boiling water around and in it the tear it apart to see what is left soemtimes adding more hot water and it works great.
