Short Battery Life.

I have a first generation 15G ipod and the battery life has cut down all of a sudden. I'm wondering if I need to buy a new one or can it be repaired, and if so, is it worth fixing? I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks

I would probably buy a new one if I was you. It is pretty expensive to replace a battery in those things. It is pretty much cheaper by the time you send it to them and they send it back, etc. I would just buy a new one that is better.

First, do you still have you warranty? If not the best way should be replace a new one.Because replacing a new battery is almost half price of your ipod!It doesn't worth for you to replace as old ipod don't have much function and many of the application does not supply. And buying a ipod or ipod nano is relatively cheap.Replacing a batter equals to a ipod shuffle! It's really expensive. If you still like changing, you can visit this website,http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/battery/ hope these information can have you a bit.And remember keep on participating in mylot!
